Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on some ideas for a more advanced power or energy-management system in Nukkit, something similar to what modded Java Minecraft has but built in a lightweight, server-friendly way for Bedrock.
While researching real-world electrical systems for inspiration, I ended up reading about industrial hardware including how dry type transformer manufacturers design compact, low-maintenance transformers for indoor environments. It got me thinking: concepts like load balancing, overheating, and energy routing could actually translate into interesting gameplay mechanics.
A few ideas for a potential plugin:
Nothing too technical just loosely inspired by real electrical design to create deeper gameplay without being complicated for players.
I’m curious if anyone has tried something similar in Nukkit or has ideas on how to structure an efficient and lag-free energy system. Would a lightweight “power grid” plugin be useful to the community?

A few ideas for a potential plugin:
- Blocks or machines that generate, store, or transfer energy
- Overload mechanics that cause temporary shutdowns
- Heat levels for power units that players need to manage
- Safe zones that require constant power (farms, doors, redstone-like setups)
- Upgradable components with different efficiency or durability levels
