How I can edit the Player Name

Hey I would like to edit the Player name but if i do player.setDisplayName("example"); than is the player name not edited.

Changing display name should work. Do you mean name tags? I think changing name tag is not currently possible.

Yes it is. Take a look at Multilabs.net:19132 (not my server - not a featured Server)
But I'm sorry... I still didn't figured out how they do
that.

The only way (at least taht i know about) is to send custom nametag directly in spawn packet and about changing you must despawn player and after 2 seconds spawn it again (according to steadfast)

CreeperFace's answer does work. I've updated my plugin, teamplugin, to work with it and you just have to despawn the player, setNameTag, then use the runTaskLater object to spawnToAll 40 ticks later. The source code is on my github, https://github.com/MrCoderBoy345/TeamPlugin
